Pet Boarding Services

Granite City Pet Hospital offers pet boarding for your furry family members. We offer day boarding and extended stay boarding. Our team cares for your pets while must be away. We do offer boarding services year round; however, pick-up and drop-off times may vary on weekends and holidays.

We offer spacious pet boarding facilities for all sizes. While they stay with us they are welcome to bring their own luggage (beds, blankets, bowls, etc.) or we can provide these items. If your pet is on any medication or special diet, you will want to provide these items for their stay. If you want Granite City Pet Hospital to provide your pet with food there is no additional charge but they will be fed Purina EN- a bland diet for gastrointestinal health. Dogs are house in indoor kennels and walked 3 times daily in an outdoor exercise pen.  Cats are housed in a cat-only room and are allowed exercise throughout their stay.

Please ask one of our care team members for more information on our boarding services.

We have established the following guidelines to ensure a healthy and happy environment for your pets while they stay with us:

All vaccinations must be current and an annual fecal sample is required.

Dogs must be current on: Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo, Parainfluenza, Leptospirosis, Rabies and Bordetella vaccines

Cats must be current on: Distemper, Rhinotracheitis, Calici & Rabies vaccines

WE REQUIRE THAT ONE OF THE FOLLOWING PREVENTATIVES BE ADMINISTERED TO YOUR PET ONE MONTH PRIOR TO BOARDING WITH US IN ORDER TO ENSURE THAT OUR KENNEL FACILITY WILL BE FREE OF FLEAS.
